The positions we currently need to occupy:

• International business developer
• PHP programmer

International business developer

Help Piano research, identify and enter new markets as a Business Developer. Publishers working with Piano vary from large national newspapers to local niche magazines or digital only publishing groups, based mostly in Western Europe. Use your business development experience and understanding of publishing business to approach and engage clients in new countries. Combine your analytical thinking and communication skills to drive and persuade publishers to adopt Piano solutions for their paid content needs. Process market data and analysis to taylor pitches to potential customers and to improve Piano sales processes.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and research potential markets, data trends and develop market entry plans
• Target new potential customers and develop relationships with clients
• Develop and create strategic pitches and sales presentations and sales documents
• Collaborate on case studies of successful implementations to share experiences with clients and partners for conferences and industry fairs
• Take responsibility for specific leads/sales opportunities and manage the sales process end-to-end

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in print or online publishing, with an understanding of new media trends
• At least 5-10+ years of experience in business development, client management or sales
• Fluent in English + 1 more world language in both written and spoken form
• Fluency in more than 2 languages is a plus (fluency in Slovak is NOT required)
• Sales track record of overachieving quotas
• Ability to work under pressure and meet new challenges
• Willingness to travel

PHP programmer

We are looking for a talented developer who can, beside playing XBOX, do the following:

• Programming in PHP and PostgreSQL
• Creative proposals for new functionalities
• Communication with developers from participating media and new clients (in English).

Requirements:

• University degree BA, BS or higher
• English - active user (another foreign language is an advantage)
• PHP - expert
• SQL or cloud databases - expert
• A minimum of three years programming experience

• Be great at teamwork
• Have excellent communication skills
• Great control of XBOX controller (if the skill is lacking, we will train you)

Where you'll work: Bratislava, Slovakia
Salary: negotiable
Starting date: negotiable, preferably immediately
